Flours Mill April Food Club Meeting:  High Tea

Forty-four members of the community enjoyed assorted teas for brewing in individual tea pots, assorted tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd, all served on tiered serving plates.  The sweets at the end were home-made petit fours, toffee-chocolate covered strawberries and mini-eclairs, topped off with an elegant mint to cleanse the palate.  Many busy bees helped arrange the food, set the tables, and finish the job of washing, cleaning up and packing up the serving plates and all the other fine china and silver used for the tea...a team effort!
